2025 Fall Homecoming
Fall homecoming ceremonies were held on Friday, September 12th, following the 3:00 p.m. NG/SE vs Winside football game. It was a hot afternoon but the game and festivities were well attended.
Emily Schlecht, last year’s queen helped the crown bearers to crown the king and queen. The Homecoming King was Micah Cuevas, son of Jenelle Mostek. The Homecoming Queen was Aubree Whitaker, daughter of Halie & Steve Bender and Kyle & Presley Whitaker.
Other royalty candidates included Serenity Strong, daughter of Tim and Kathy Strong; Keira Voelker, daughter of Michaela & Zach Thompson and Jason Voelker; Billy Fyfe, son of Shawn and Todd Hollers; Keoni Loyd, son of Francis and Pam Forkner. The crown bearers were Sammie Albracht, daughter of Tyler and Abby Albracht and Declan Kaufman, son of Jason and Chelsea Kaufman.
Junior attendants were Jayden Benson, daughter of April Benson and Derek & Kristin Benson; and Rylan Hoadley, son of Kelly Hoadley. The sophomore attendants were Fancy Forkner, daughter of Francis and Pam Forkner; and Korben Donner, son of Enjoli Donner and Jason Donner. Attendants for the freshman class were Elia Jarecki, daughter of Kelly Schlee; and Griffin Nelson, son of Kristin Nelson.
The dance began at 7:30 pm. in the gym. The students enjoyed snacks and dancing. Fall homecoming is sponsored by Mrs. Sweeter and the Student Council.
